Yesterday, March 26, 2025, President Trump issued a proclamation announcing a planned 25% tariff on imports of automobiles, lights trucks, and certain vehicle parts under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962. Possible delay on the Canadian and Mexican tariffs
According to whitehouse.gov, President Trump today announced adjustments to tariffs imposed on Canada and Mexico. We have not seen anything from US Customs yet, but we will post the guidance when it becomes available. Additional China Tariff now at 20%
Starting at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time on 3/4/2025 (9:01 p.m. Pacific time on 3/3/2025), the additional China tariff increased from 10% to 20%. There are a few exemptions that do apply.
