Hello. Since December 2018 there have been several lists of items that have been granted exclusion to the China Tariffs by the US Trade Representative’s Office (USTR). The latest on the China Tariffs
As many of you know, there have been a lot of moves lately in regard to the China Tariffs. A $300 Billion Trade Action went into effect with two lists. The first list, called Annex A, went into effect on Monday September 1st with products having a duty rate of an additional 15% over the regular duty. President Trump threatens more China Tariff’s on Friday
It was reported in the Washington Post today, from comments President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he intends on increasing tariff’s on goods made in China – come this Friday. Formaldehyde Emission – Wood Products
Effective March 22nd 2019, the EPA in conjunction with Customs (CBP) will impose a new regulation that on the surface appears to be massive in scope. Change – In Reporting Consignee EIN / IRS tax numbers March 16 2019
There is a very important change coming to the information that a U.S. Customs broker must report when adding a new “consignee” EIN (employer identification number) commonly referred to as an I.R.S. tax number. Regulating through the Twitterverse, President Trump announced that there had been significant progress made during trade negotiations with China and as such has delayed or pushed back the date for implementation of the 25% additional Section 301 tariff’s, as previously reported on this website.
